Cycling for Awareness, 2000+ miles

i was meant to post this last weekend.sorry.
if you read my introduction to this blog you will see that i mentioned a cycle ride and that is what i am going to focus on in this post.
for a while now i have been trying to plan a very large cycle ride around the UK to try and raise awareness of dyspraxia alongside raising money for the dyspraxia foundation.
so to go into the details of the cycle ride itself i am going to be cycling over 2000 miles from my hometown in Kent to the Dyspraxia Foundations head office in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, via Lands End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) (the most south westerly and north easterly parts of mainland britain) this means i pretty much go around the entire contry. and im starting it next month July 20th to be exact and finishing on the 13th August
i chose to do this instead of the often seen charity cycle rides like LEJOG because i felt this had a direct link to dyspraxia and the dyspraxia foundation, what could be better going to them. a friend actually said to me the other day why do somthing this big and my answer was that LEJOG was too normal even though that about 1000 miles itself. also it came really as a coincidence that i like cycling and it being a known skill for people with dyspraxia to struggle learning
